Insightrix’s SaskWatch Research® panel donates $15,447 to the Fort McMurray Fire relief effort
Panel members come through in the month of May, with many donating their panel points to help the Fort McMurray people.

The panel is comprised of more than 15,000 Saskatchewan residents. SaskWatch Research® operates using a panel point system, where panel members are rewarded points for each survey they complete. These points can be cashed out and panel members can either receive a cheque, or donate their money to a charity.
In early May, panel members were given the opportunity to donate their panel points to Red Cross Canada for the Fort McMurray fires. Panel members were informed that with federal government matching, their donations would be doubled. SaskWatch panel members heard our call!
In just three hours of sending an email asking SaskWatch panelists to willingly donate any amount of points they had collected, donations quickly began to pour in – so much so – the SaskWatch panel manager, Marcia Da Costa, was flooded all day with emails.
“Thanks to our SaskWatch panelists who reacted so quickly,” Marcia Da Costa said. “Insightrix offered to match the first $2,500 in donations. Our panelists matched our donations in just under three hours – and we had given the entire month to let them reach $2,500.”
During the month of May, panelists donated $12,947 to the relief efforts.
“We have staff who have friends and family members evacuated due to the Fort McMurray fires,” Corrin Harper, CEO says. “In Saskatchewan, this hits closer to home than we could have ever imagined.”
“We are happy to announce that $12,947 was donated by our panelists and Insightrix is happy to contribute another $2,500 to Red Cross Canada for a total of $15,447.
