SaskWatch Research Plays a Part in COVID-19 Research in Saskatchewan

SaskWatch members have an important role in researching the COVID-19 pandemic in Saskatchewan

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major disruptions in Saskatchewan in business and in our daily lives.

Each week, Insightrix Research® (SaskWatch Research’s parent company) turns to the members of SaskWatch to get answers to how Saskatchewan residents are holding up during the pandemic.

They look at stress levels and self-reported mental health, as well as the general outlook of the people of the province. Insightrix also looks into how Saskatchewan residents are feeling about specific issues as they relate to the COVID pandemic, such as their opinions concerning public health orders, school closures, vaccination schedules and more – all using the data they gain from surveying SaskWatch members.

Every Friday, Insightrix shares this data with their clients in the form of their Barometer of Saskatchewan Mental Health.

They also make the data available to the public every Wednesday through the Saskatchewan COVID Research Centre – a space on the Insightrix website where they share all of the research and data they have acquired researching how Saskatchewan residents are feeling and thinking about the pandemic.

Then, each Monday, the SaskWatch team takes that data and shares it with SaskWatch members on the SaskWatch blog to make sure the people who participated in the research are being included in learning about these important research findings.

Learn more about COVID-19 in Saskatchewan

If you would like to follow the Insightrix Barometer on Saskatchewan Mental Health, you can visit the SaskWatch blog every Monday, before it is shared with the public.
